To all those interested in magic, remember this when performing mind tricks.
Some people think that mind tricks are a walk in the park. It's not just about memorizing words, it's about telling a story.
There're are a couple of things you should know:
1) Using your voice
Do you feel that your crowds are getting lost in the middle of your act. It's pretty common to hear a story gets boring and dull and you just can get to the end. Playing with your voice is most surely important to learn. It'll help give rhythm to your story, and make it stick.
2) Body Language
Do you know that mind tricks aren't only mind performed? Your body must move accordingly as well. Facial expressions, your hands, arms, and legs should all be in accordance. If you learn this techniques it will greatly improve your act.
3) You will mess up!
Note to this! No matter how good you are, while performing mind tricks magicians mess up all the time. I'm sure you will screw up too. Let it go. Quoting myself "Don't dwell but learn from it. If you don't screw up LET ME KNOW HOW!!!!"
